Privacy policy

Information we collect

We collect the information you provide when you create or update an account, including your username, email address, password credentials, optional avatar, and optional X handle. If you continue with X, Google, or Apple, that provider gives xspii an account ID and may provide your name, email address, and profile image. X also requires read access to posts for its authenticated-user endpoint, but xspii does not retrieve or store your posts. We never receive your provider password.

If you bid for sponsorship, we collect the business name, website, banner graphic, bid amount, and payment references needed to operate and audit the sponsor ranking. The business name, website, graphic, rank, and cumulative paid bid are public. Payment providers process the payment details; xspii does not receive full card or bank-account numbers.

If you purchase ad-free access, Stripe processes your payment details. xspii stores the Stripe customer and subscription references, subscription status, and paid-through date needed to provide and manage ad-free access. We do not receive your full card number.

To protect the competition, we may store security records such as a protected version of your IP address and browser information, play-session tokens, replay data, ad events, and reasons a run was held for review. We do not store full card or bank-account numbers.

How we use information

We use information to operate accounts, competitions, sponsor rankings, and payments; verify scores; publish leaderboards; prevent fraud and automation; process prizes; provide support; comply with law; improve Dashline; and protect xspii and its players.

Cookies and advertising

Essential cookies keep you signed in, protect forms, remember your cookie choice, and maintain site security. These cookies are required for xspii to work.

If you choose “Accept all,” advertising partners such as Google may use cookies, device information, and activity data to provide, measure, and limit ads. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies based on visits to xspii and other sites. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer or manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings.

If you choose “Essential only,” xspii does not load optional advertising code in your browser. Your choice does not remove essential account and security cookies.

When we share information

We share only what is needed with service providers that help us host the site, send email, process sponsor payments and prizes, deliver advertising, provide optional X sign-in, detect abuse, and provide security. Stripe processes sponsor payments and player payout details under its own terms and privacy practices. xspii stores the connected Stripe account ID, readiness status, payout method type, institution or card brand, and last four digits, but not your complete bank account or debit card details. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information for money.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to operate competitions, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, meet accounting and legal duties, and enforce our rules. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your choices

You can update your public profile and password from your account. You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to records we must retain for legal, fraud-prevention, tax, or competition-integrity reasons. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights.

Children

xspii is intended only for adults who are legally eligible to enter its competitions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
